What will you do?
As a Software Engineer at ElBits you will be working with one of our cross-functional teams to create valuable services and products. We have teams working with everything from web applications and data platforms to internal tools and platforms that will solidify Elbits as a stable, secure, and efficient tech environment. You can expect variety, and your responsibilities will touch upon every phase of development, from idea to finished product.
We would like you to have the ability to work effectively through all of the layers of our products and that you wish to contribute to the ongoing evaluation of new technologies that we can use. At Elbits you can experience a day-to-day where you focus on the set goals that we work towards, as well as needing to switch focus and prioritize when needed.

Typical responsibilities can include:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend and/or backend applications in a variety of contexts.
- Create Proof of Concepts and prototypes for new products.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges during the development process.
- Contribute to improving our solutions and workflows within different areas.
- Help us explore best practices, but also set a standard for how we work with the most efficient technologies for our purpose.
We are looking for skilled and motivated developers ready to learn, explore, and help ElBits make the right technical choices for our products. We value candidates who show a strong motivation to learn and grow, regardless of their previous work experience.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, either in frontend or backend.
- Experience working with React and TypeScript. (We also use C#, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Go.)
- Ability and motivation to work in either frontend or backend and flexibility to learn and move across the stack if needed.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and sometimes complex environment.
- Ability to write code in one or more programming languages and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Comfortable with uncertainty and iterative development, with a continuous learning mindset.
- Has an outcome-based approach.

What does the process look like?

- If we find your profile interesting, we’ll schedule a short (30-minute) conversation with our recruitment advisor.
- After that, we’ll set up a Meet & Greet with our CTO.
- For the second interview, we’ll ask you to do a short exercise and have a couple of our team members discuss it with you, and also tell you a bit more about our stack.
- We do a couple of reference checks and send you an offer!
