What will you do? 

As a Senior Software Engineer at ElBits, you will work with one of our cross-functional teams to create valuable services and products. Our teams work on everything from web applications and data platforms to internal tools and platforms that will solidify Elbits as a stable, secure, and efficient tech environment. You can expect variety, and your responsibilities will touch upon every phase of development, from idea to finished product.

We would like you to have the ability to work effectively through all of the layers of our products and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of new technologies that we should use. Responsibilities include:

• Architect, design, develop and maintain scalable backend and frontend solutions for a diverse range of products and services.
  

• Facilitate technical discussions and drive the adoption of best practices to ensure high-quality code, performance, and security.
  

• Build and deliver Proof of Concepts and prototypes to validate ideas and test new technologies.
  

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful delivery of features.
  

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications for improved performance and reliability.
  

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to maintain a cutting-edge tech stack that aligns with our goals.
  

• Act as a mentor for junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
  

• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond.
  

• Contribute to strategic decisions that shape the direction of our tech environment and products.

We’re still evolving and discovering what our technology stack will be. So far we are using Typescript, React, Golang, C#, Azure, Python and Docker with Kubernetes. We are focused on taking a pragmatic approach to languages and frameworks – we’re trying to use the best tool for each task and to support teams by using language-agnostic technologies when possible.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies. Versatility and adaptability are highly valued.
  

• A solid track record of working in fast-paced, innovative, and sometimes complex environments, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
  

• Proficiency in writing high-quality code in one or more programming languages, combined with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
  

• Someone who thrives in navigating uncertainty embraces continuous learning, and enjoys iterative problem-solving.
  

• Proven ability to adapt and excel in dynamic environments, addressing challenges with a proactive and innovative mindset.
  

• A results-oriented individual who focuses on outcomes and delivering value to users and stakeholders.

What does the process look like?

1. Apply with your CV and contact information.
2. If we find your profile interesting, we’ll schedule a short (30-minute) conversation with our recruitment advisor.
3. After that, we’ll set up a Meet & Greet with our Head of Tech.
4. For the second interview, we’ll set up a chat with a couple of our developers to learn more about your technical background.
5. The last step is a final chat with our CEO.
6. We do a couple of reference checks and send you an offer!
