We are now hiring a Head of Portfolio and Operations to help shape our organization and strategy as we scale. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in people management, strengthening our company culture, and enabling teams to perform at their best. In other words, this role will be key to fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across the organization.
You’ll work closely with and lead our portfolio and operation teams, enabling decision-making and driving our key initiatives in these areas. Whether it is supporting Product Owners in removing blockers so they can deliver more efficiently or guiding our Finance Manager in implementing robust financial processes - you're always thinking a few steps ahead to ensure the teams has what they need to operate smoothly and scale bit by bit.
What will you do?
As Head of Portfolio and Operations, you will be a key part of our five-person management team, working closely with leadership to drive ElBits forward. This role will be responsible for two main areas, both centered around enabling people and teams to succeed:
Portfolio:
- Guide the management team in balancing the portfolio, ensuring key areas receive the right level of support and focus.
- Lead portfolio activities, such as quarterly reviews and bi-weekly demo days, fostering team transparency and alignment.
- Support customer-facing product development, helping cluster product leads with prioritization and team enablement when necessary.
- Help to build our project and product methodology and support our product teams on unblocking their challenges.
Operations:
- Establish frameworks that drive efficiency and prevent teams from reinventing the wheel.
- We have started building a small but talented team in this area, and this role will support them, especially when they encounter challenges.
- Remove obstacles that slow down the organization, enabling teams to move faster and work smarter.
- Oversee core functions and support line managers within finance, HR & culture, procurement, and staffing, ensuring support and guidance when necessary.
- Work closely with our CEO to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment across ElBits.

Who are you?
We are looking for a structured and strategic person with a background in project or product management, as well as proven experience with managing people. We hope you bring a pragmatic mindset and can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on problem-solving.

- Proficiency in English is required, as it is our working language. Since we collaborate with Norwegian grid companies, you should be comfortable understanding Norwegian and open to building confidence in speaking over time.

- The final chat will involve a meeting with a Product Owner and our Finance Manager.
