People and Office Manager

ElBits has been growing quickly over the past two years, both in terms of our products and services, but most of all as a company. We’ve reached a stage where we want to establish a foothold, consolidate our ways of working, and introduce more structure in-house. Up until now, we’ve had support from an HR consultant, but we’re now looking for someone to join us full-time and take ownership of the HR and office admin side of things.
That’s why we’re looking for a People & Office Manager - preferably someone early in their career, who is eager to learn, grow, and take on responsibility.
In this role, you’ll support with HR administration, onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day people processes, while also helping us keep the workplace running smoothly. You’ll be part of the Operations team and play an important role in shaping how we work together as we continue to scale.

Who are we?
ElBits is an ambitious collaboration among Norway’s grid companies aimed at driving change in the power grid industry. We standardize and integrate data, develop digital products, and build the digital infrastructure needed to increase grid capacity and efficiency, while also improving the customer experience across the sector.

What will you do?
Today, we already have some infrastructure in place for both HR and office management, so this role will be key to operating the infrastructure day-to-day and also be a part of developing it moving forward. This means you’ll balance hands-on tasks with the opportunity to shape and strengthen how we work.
You’ll be responsible for both people processes and office management, ensuring ElBits is a smooth-running and engaging workplace.
Some of your key tasks will include:
- Taking ownership of day-to-day HR and office operations.
- Supporting employees with HR-related questions and processes.
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth knowledge transfer.
- Managing HR administration, systems (e.g. Huma), and keeping policies up to date in line with regulations and organizational needs.
- Ensuring our office is welcoming, functional, and a true hub for collaboration.
- Being the go-to person for logistics, contracts, and routines that keep things running efficiently.
- Working with the Operations team to further develop HR practices and processes as ElBits scales.
- Advising and supporting employees and managers on people- and employment-related matters.
- Planning and running company-wide meetings and events.
While not a requirement, having experience with or motivation to contribute to recruitment processes is a plus. It is an opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility in this area over time.

We believe you bring with you:
- At least 1–2 years of experience from an HR-related role, ideally with some exposure to recruitment and administration or office management.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Norwegian Labor Law (Arbeidsmiljøloven)
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in Norwegian and English.
- The ability to build trusting relationships and act as a sparring partner for colleagues and leaders.
- Solid process understanding, with the ability to see how routines and systems connect and can be improved.
- Adaptability, thriving in a dynamic environment where new needs and changes are a natural part of growth.
- A structured yet flexible working style, with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

What does the process look like?

- If we find your profile interesting, we’ll schedule a short (30-minute) conversation with our recruitment advisor.
- After that, we’ll set up a Meet & Greet with our Recruitment Advisor and HR Consultant.
- For the second interview, we’ll have a more in-depth discussion about your experience and understanding of the role. Here we will inform you about our way of working and more about us. We conduct a short exercise through a personality and ability test with Fairsight.
- The final chat will involve a meeting with a couple from the Operations team.
- We do a couple of reference checks and send you an offer!
